Interschool Cross Country

On Friday the 12th of June, eighteen students travelled to Bruce Rock to proudly represent St Mary’s at the Interschool Cross Country. Despite the cold conditions, spirits were high and all students demonstrated outstanding determination, sportsmanship and resilience throughout the day.

St Mary’s achieved an excellent result, finishing a very close 2nd overall out of 8 schools on 82 points, just 7 points behind the winning school. This was a fantastic team effort, with every student contributing valuable points and representing the school with pride.

There were many outstanding individual performances, with a large number of students finishing in the top 10 of their respective age groups. Special congratulations go to:

  • Zeke Goosen – 1st Place, 10 & Under Boys
  • Mitchell Mills – 4th Place, 10 & Under Boys
  • Ava Webb – 1st Place, 11 & Under Girls
  • Tahlia Govender – 2nd Place, 11 & Under Girls

Congratulations to all students who competed. Your effort, commitment and positive attitude made St Mary’s proud, and this excellent result is a reflection of the hard work and dedication shown by all competitors.
